The 2nd IAF International Young Adults Aikido Seminar
The 2nd IAF International Young Adults Aikido Seminar took place in Tokyo, during the 24-26 of October 2025 and it was a wonderful success!
The kick-off of the event consisted in an inspiring session, led by Suzuki Shihan and Oyama Shihan. Two fantastic hours of hard work, great energy and so many happy faces all around.
The following morning’s sessions began with Oyama Shihan and then by Suzuki Shihan, having around 120 young adults on the mats to train and grow together.
After lunch, participants joined the first class of Dojocho, with even greater energy and enthusiasm filling the dojo.
The day conclude with an exchange party, offering everyone the opportunity to connect and share experiences beyond the training sessions.
The 3rd day of the IAF International Aikido Seminar for Young Adults began with a class led by Dojocho, setting an inspiring tone for the day. Afterward, the Embukai took place — a great number of young aikidoka showcased the results of their dedicated training, demonstrating both skill and spirit.
The event concluded with Dojocho’s own embu, leaving a deep impression on all the participants and bringing this year’s seminar to a memorable close.
Behind the scenes, a team of amazing volunteers worked tirelessly to make this event a success. The IAF is deeply grateful to everyone who supported us with full hearts.
