Dojo-Cho in Europe 2019

During summer-autumn of 2019, Dojo-Cho Mitsuteru Ueshiba will be visiting Europe several times. He will teach in Netherlands, Hungary, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and France.

Dojo-cho Mitsuteru Ueshiba will teach in Budapest/Hungary mid June, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Japanese-Hungarian diplomatic relationship.
The event will start on the 14th with a Youth Training at the University of Physical Education D-Hall 1123 Budapest Győri street 9. Participants at this class can be 15 to 35 years of age.
On the 15th, in the morning there will be the Opening Ceremony, two Trainings and a nice Photo Session. The day will end with a Jubilee Dinner and Party. On the 16th, the participants will enjoy two other Trainings and a Demonstration Session before the Closing Ceremony.
The venue of the training is MOM Sport Center, 1123 Budapest, Csörsz street 14-16, Hungary.

Dojo-cho Mitsuteru Ueshiba will teach in Almere/Nederland as a special guest of the event celebrating 60 years of Aikikai Aikido in Nederland.
On Friday, 26.07.2019, there will be a total of 3 trainings, on Saturday, 27.07.2019, there will be 7 trainings and on Sunday, 28.07.2019 there will be 4 trainings and the Embukai.

Dojo-cho Mitsuteru Ueshiba will teach in St. Gallen/Switzerland mid September as the main guest at the celebration of half a century of Aikikai Switzerland activity. The programme of the seminar is available on the website of the association: www.aikikai.ch. Besides the well-known classes for adults, there will be classes for children and adolescents that will be conducted by high-ranking teachers. Special halls are being prepared for these Aikido classes at Athletik Zentrum in the city of St. Gallen.

Dojo-cho Mitsuteru Ueshiba will lead a special seminar in October, visiting Belgium, Luxembourg and France, on the occasion of 60 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and the European Union. The Belgian Aikikai, the FLAM and the FFAAA are organizing together the international seminar that will be held in 3 different locations: Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve/Belgium, Petange/Luxembourg and Vanves/France.
The goal of this event is to unite European Aikido practitioners of all ages and levels around a young and emblematic teacher, who embodies not only tradition and continuity of Aikido but also its future and modernity.

In Belgium, the venue of the trainings is Centre sportif du Blocry, Place des Sports, 1, 1348 Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve. The schedule for Saturday, October 19th, and Sunday, October 20th , includes classes from 10h – 12h and 14h – 16h.

In Luxembourg, the venue of the training is Centre Sportif Bim Diederich, 46, rue Pierre Hamer L-4737 Pétange. The schedule for Tuesday, October 22th, includes the class from 19h30 – 21h30.

In France, the venue of the trainings is Gymnase Maurice Magne, 10 rue Danton, F-92170 Vanves. If you come with the public transport, you can take the metro - ligne 13, for the Malakoff station – Plateau de Vanves. The schedule for Saturday, October 26th, and Sunday October 27th, include classes from 10h – 12h and 14h – 16h.
