The World Combat Games 2023 to be held in Riyadh

GAISF has announced that the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, has been awarded the 2023 edition of the World Combat Games (WCG). The estimated time of the year is the first quarter of 2023.

"Aikido is pleased to join with the other martial arts and combat sports in this prestigious event that has been 10 years in waiting. As Saudi Arabia Aikido groups have joined together and completed the application to join our International Aikido Federation this fall, we look forward to a fruitful event with our Aikido friends in Saudi Arabia.

The host of the next World Combat Games 2023, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has put together the first promo video for the event with all the martial arts and combat sports that will participate. Aikido has participated since the first World Combat Games in 2010 in Beijing and will gather with 14 other martial arts and combat sports in this world leading event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
